Bio
I lead Analytics and Economics at Waymark, a public benefit corporation providing community-based, tech-enabled healthcare services for Medicaid beneficiaries, in partnership with primary care providers and health plans.
Previously, I was an Assistant Professor of Health System Design and Global Health and an Economist at Mount Sinai. My research group studied the organization and delivery of primary care, value-based payment models, quality of care, population health, and global health using econometric and statistical learning methods, and was supported by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NHLBI K01 and Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center P30 project), Centers for Disease Control (NYU U01 subaward), United States Agency for International Development (Fonkoze subaward), Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Connected Care (Iowa VA subaward), and Archstone Foundation (UCSF subaward).
